Hydras, Narsia, Skeil, Bullet, Ankh, & Yersinia
While the two sisters, alpha and beta, lay against a cool brick wall, Skeil came padded over to them. A smirking, joyful grin creased her broad mug and wrinkled her features with its intensity. "Guess what." She woofed slyly, excitedly.
Hydras raised an eye, "Yeh?" She wasn't one for getting overly excited about anything. But Narsia lifted her head and thumped her tail against the ground, her ears perking up and her eyes lighting with interest. "What is it?"
Skeil's tail began to wag now, "I've got a mate. Kivo, another pit bull!" Her grin grow brighter, deepening and spreading the wrinkles about her broad face and adding to the look of pure bliss and joy. Narsia sat up, "Good for you! I can't wait to meet him." Hydras just nodded, "Yes, good for you Skeil." Skeil gave her alpha a faint smile, looking downward. She had forgotten that Hydras was very sore on that subject; ever since Demon disappeared.
The joyful news was quickly ruined when Ankh and Bullet came in, half dragging Yersinia with them. They set her down near the wall as Hydras approached them in such a swift manner that both males backed up in alarm. Their ears were pasted against their skulls and their tails were low as their alpha's face scowled down on them.
"We had a hunting accident..." Bullet began, but his sister had sprung at him, snapping at his muzzle and shaking it fiercely enough to draw blood. He yelped pitifully, but did not counter her. "I'm sorry! I knew it was wrong, but..." She continued to assail her brother, now snapping at his ruff and forcing him to the ground in a pathetic display of helpless submission.
Ankh turned his head away, cringing in guilt that his uncle was taking the blame. Finally he spoke up, "Hydras... it was all my idea. Bullet tried to talk me out of it, but I wanted to impress my friends." He admitted with gritted teeth.
Hydras turned on him in a flash, her eyes blazing so angrily at her neice that even he, as dominant and prideful as he was, instantly cowered and dropped his belly to the ground. "Ankh!" she roared out in a snarl, "You -you," she fumed, trying to think of what to call him, but finally giving it up and going on, "Your brother lives there, accept it!" Scent had told her exactly where they had been, "You're lucky, little one, that you're family!"
Narsia watched helplessly her son was punished by forceful bites and thrashes. After the lesson had been dealt out by fang, Hydras glared angrily down at both the males, "You'll both stay here and guard Yersinia. Take her to the factory while the rest of us go to hunt." The alpha turned sharply and headed away. Skeil and Narsia followed dutifully after.
Ankh picked himself up slowly, sore and smarting where his aunt's fangs nipped and peirced his flesh. "I'm going out." he muttered under his breath, leaving in the opposite direction once Hydras was out of site. Bullet blinked in disbeleif, but didn't say anything. Sighing heavily, he helped Yersinia to an old, abandonded building that had long been a safe house for the pack.
Sequoia*Sasha
Seeing Hydras reprimend Bullet so had Sasha baring her teeth her hackles raised. But she forced herself to relax as the female passed showing she wasnt going to challenge her. She to had been at the hunt but she didnt say anything. She looked worriedly at Bullet and followed him. "Bullet? Are you alright?" she asked softly
Sequoia shook her head. SO much love was going around. She would never get a mate. Not with her attitude. She watched Sasha race after Bullet. Aaka had two or three males after her. Shaking her head the female stalked over to the shadows behind some garbage bins. She could see everything and everyone passing.
Bullet, Yersinia, & Black Feather
Bullet was the perfect picture of humiliation when he realized Sasha had seen the whole event. A sheepish smile crept over his muzzle and he stood, staring at the ground for a moment, "Heh, I'm alright. She gets a bit..." He turned his eyes up now, terribly humbled, but this scene had been relived countless times in the past. "Irritable. She use to be more pleasant, but her mate disappeared last winter." Bullet explained, for he cared about his sister despite the unecessary abuse she put him through. "Those cattle should be scattering through the woods right now. I'll bet we can find one or two tonight." he pointed out hopefully, eager to do something with Sasha that wouldn't involve the whole pack.
Yersinia rested her head on her paws, dejected and in anguish. She was glad at least to have Hydras picking on someone else besides her.
Black Feather watched the three from his perch above the building. The falcon had kept his distance from the pack, but decided to speak with them this time, "I could help you locate those cattle. My eyes aren't that great at night... but it shouldn't be too hard."
Sasha
Sasha gazed at Bullet with a look of concern on her face. She gently put her head over his shoulder in what a human could call a hug. "Hydras hasnt been happy for awhile now." she shook her head and smiled. "Yeah that could work...." she glanced over at Yersinia with a curious look but said nothing.
Bullet, Yersinia, & Black Feather
"Good!" he woofed, then looked for Sequioa, "Could you... watch Yersinia for a bit? Until Hydras gets back? Oh wait..." he groaned as he thought about the punishment he might recieve if he caught disobeying, "Could you distract her if she returns before Sasha and I do?"
Yersinia snorted lightly and closed her eyes, trying to sleep away the pain. She didn't much like being 'babysitted', but at least she wouldn't have to worry about being attacked while she was injured.
Sequioa
Shepherd hued bitch looked at Bullet with cold eyes. "Fine. Ill distract Hydras but not for long. If you dont show up in a few minutes." she glared a moment longer before getting up and walking over to Yersinia and laying down.
Sasha smiled at Bullet and began to trot...She didnt know exactly where she was going. She stopped and looked at Bullet with a sheepish smile. "Where we headed?"
