Sequioa*Sasha
The two hybrids walked in. Actually...one sauntered more than walked but it was all the same.
Sequioa growled and snapped at any who came near her. She wasnt in the mood to put up with anyone right now.
Sasha however wanted to see someone. She looked around seeing if Bullet was anywhere nearby. Not seeing him she sulked. She wanted to see the large male....
Fly was a new male. He trotted in behind the two females watching everything and everyone.
Flame was the otehr. The large rottwieler gazed around him taking in everything.
Sequioa snarled and left crawling into a dark building. She wanted to be alone.
Hydras & Pack
Hydras had returned to the terra, but had taken a different route. A keen sense of her surroundings lead her to realize that the rest of the pack was here, along with the two new canines that Aaka spoke up. With her head and tail pulled rightfully up, she stalked towards Fly and Flame, staring them in the eyes as a means of testing how dominant they were. "You are my new pack members, right?" she questioned lightly.
From the second story window of a nearby abandoned factory, Bullet stuck his head out and gave a joyful bark, "Sasha!" There was a desperate flash of wings and quite a bit of movement on the window sill. Bullet put his head down and plucked up a baby falcon, flapping and struggling the hybrid's large jaws, "Louk 'at I' g't!" he barked again, his words jumbled by the bird he held in his jaws. One of Pirqua's babies.
Ankh, Yersinia, and Skeil came beside their alpha and milled around. Yersinia was no longer an omega. Gaining confidence from her strange brother Aidan, her attitude quickly got snippy and sharp, although she dared not be offensive to her aunt Hydras. She gazed towards Flame curiously.
Skeil waved her stumpy tail and eyed both dogs without much detail. She was a light spirited one, despite that fact that she loved fighting. She'd just as much like to play as she would fight.
Ankh was sullen a good deal of the time, but for now, he was quite inquisive of the new arrivals. Being so small made him wary though, for he didn't want to be pushed down in rank. He bristled his akwardly huge ruff so that it framed his much smaller face and pointed muzzle.
Sasha
Sasha yipped a hello to Bullet. She raced towards him laughing all the way. She raced up the stairs and through the door to Bullet. She smiled at him and looked at the small falcon in his jaws. "Wow" she said enthusiastically.
Flame watched everyone carefully. He was tense and rumbled slightly from the large group. He didnt like large groups. If one to were attack you never knew what direction they come from. He glared at Hydras in the eye but he didnt want to be alpha. He just wanted somewhere to stay. He continued to watch around him still rumbling. HE saw both Sasha and Sequioa disappear and he didnt like it. Now if the others attacked he would have no help. Not stopping in his rumbling he said "Yeah. We are the new ones. Im Flame and the little hyper thing behind me is Fly."
Fly froze. "uh....um....Hi" he stuttered. He wasnt used to so many tough looking dogs. He wasnt sure he liked it. The most he had handled was Ammon Shadow Flame and Aaka. This however was to much.
Hydras & Pack
Hydras let her voice rumble with authority and she stared unblinkingly back at Flame, reminding him just who was the boss, although she did respect his nature. "I am Hydras. That is Narsia, Skeil, Ankh, and Yersinia," she began, introducing them all, "And that is Bullet." she said with a sigh, nodding to the obnoxious hybrid hanging out of the window with the little falcon in his jaws. "Aidan is another part of our pack, but he has infiltrated the Ranch and works there, allowing us access to food if we ever need it. Then there's Ninaki, Kenyon, and the falcons. Aminita lives with Aaka, but she is not part of our pack." the last statement was made as a snarl. Aminita had abandoned the Shadow Lurkers for their old time enemies, the Alley pack. It was a sore subject for Hydras and the two betas.
Bullet set the squirming fledgling down, shaking bits of down feathers off his muzzle and mouth. "There's Mesa, Jet-Wing, and Dally. Which one do you want?" he questioned, looking to Sasha with bright eyes and a waving tail. "Pirqua doesn't like us to be up here, but she's out hunting. And he," the hybrid looked to a sulking falcon on a building across the street, "doesn't like us much. Plus he's small. You know? It's funny how male falcons are so small compared to the females!"
Ninaki & Kenyon
The two had joined the group as well, with Ninaki sitting down beside Narsia and resting very close to her. He nodded to the newcomers.
Kenyon waved his tail, "Hiya!" he yipped to Fly. He was one of the largest, if not the largest, of the Shadow Lurkers. But looks could easily be deceiving in his case. "Welcome to the pack." he could already tell Flame didn't seem to be the most friendly of sorts, so the hybrid concentrated his speech to Fly.
Flame*Fly
Flame watched everyone around him taking mental note on everyone. He watched Fly and shot him a warning look. The Border collie however was to hyper not to talk to someone.
"Hi!" he yipped back to Kenyon. "Whats your name?" he asked still hyper and wanting to play.
Ninaki, Kenyon, & Pirqua
Ninaki disregarded Fly's hyper state. His attention was more focused on Flame, also trying to get an idea of this dog's persona. Although Ninaki was very sure that his position as beta was secure in the pack, he wasn't one to fight amongst friends. Thus far, besides his son Ankh, it was the females who ruled the place and had the worst attitudes. Getting up, he nodded to Flame, "How long have you lived around humans?" He was trying to start idle chat now.
Kenyon wagged his tail happily, prancing his front paws like a pup. "Kenyon!" he yipped back. "Say, wanna play a game? We could go find my brother Aidan. Or maybe we could explore somewhere." For being such a huge hybrid, it was strange to see his attitude was just like a youngster. Very innocent and playful.
Pirqua gave a terrible cry suddenly as her shadow dove past the ground and rode up the side of the building, flushing over Sasha and Bullet's faces. In a moment, she landed in the nest, pulling her sleek feathers taunt against her body, "Bullet! Dam you, you mutt! How many times must I tell you to leave my babies alone!" As harsh as her words were, the falcon had no hard feelings against him. She was just overly stressed about her first brood. "Why don't you two go fetch a duck for them?" she said, relenting a little. "Humans are out shooting ducks. One took a crack at me. Bet you could steal one... one of the ducks they shoot down..." she hinted hopefully.
Flame*Fly
Sasha leaped backwards with a yelp as pirqua came flying in. She wasnt afraid just surprised at the small bird. "Wanna go Bullet? We could....Have some fun! Aakas got a three new packs here now. She says that one is called the Midnight Shadows Pack. A bunch of dogs....But she seems to like them. Maybe we can get some of them to come play!" She was hyper. She also wasnt living up to her breed name for agressivness.
Flame watched the male with narrowed eyes. "About a year. Got put into a junk yard after that....Guarded it for awhile. Found a way out one day. Aaka found me. Ever since then ive hung out with her a lot" It was obvious he had been a guard dog. His muslces and lean body proved that. His attitude was helpful for that job also. "What about you?" he asked in a careless manner. Keep your friends close....Your enimies closer. If one of them proved to be betraying someone....He would want to know.
Fly jumped up ready to go somewhere. "Yeah! Lets go somewhere. Is it ok though?" he was still somewhat of a pup. Young but still mature in a few ways.
Ninaki, Kenyon, & Pirqua
He continued watching Flame, subtly testing him without trying to be provoking. His eyes wondered for a moment when his past was questioned, "My sister, Storm Dancer, and I were born in a human's house. But we were taken and dumped into a trashcan. A wolf by the name of Moonshadow found us and raised us, along with our falcon friend, Pirqua." He stiffled a playing snarl at his lips as now his gaze was averted towards nothingness, "Moonshadow, her mate, and all her pups perished many years ago at the Ochotona Mountains territory where we lived. So Storm Dancer and I made our way here and joined this Lurkers. Storm Dancer was crippled in a fight, and then later died in a second battle. And now here I am." his trying eyes turned once more to face Flame and relaxed ever so slightly. It was good to talk sometimes, although he'd never really shared his past with anyone.
Kenyon grinned from ear to ear, "Yeah, sure! I mean..." he glanced from his parents to Hydras, "They're all just talking. No fighting or hunting going to happen, I don't think." he shrugged, keeping his voice a bit low now so as not to attract attention. "Where do you wanna go?"
Flame*Fly
Fly smiled and said "Lets go to....The canyon! Yeah that sounds like fun!" he was hyper. HE spun around in a circle and yipped ready to go. Then he realized he was being watched. HE froze and smiled sheepishly. He was hyper and had no idea how to get rid of his energy.
Flame nodded his head. "Im sorrry to hear about your loss" he wondered why the male just didnt go and fight for the ochtoana mountains. He didnt know who lived there now.....
Sasha turned to Bullet and said in her happy voice "Wanna go somewhere? We could go to Pikes Lake. Or the Croal Mountains...." she wanted to spend some time with Bullet. She liked the male....She wondered if he liked her back
Hydras & Pack
Bullet pulled his head back quickly, muttering a half-hearted apology to his friend. He was use to this from all the females, except Sasha of course. Bright eyed, he turned to her once more, "Sounds good! Pike's Lake is a fine place. That's were our pack usually rendezvous and hunts and what not." he gave a lop-sided smile and glanced to Pirqua, opening his trap to speak. Then he promptly closed it and turned to Sasha, "We can carry these guys around later... lets go!" His voice was almost a yip at the end and he hurried down the rickety stairs and dashed for Pike's Lake.
Hydras watched her brother's quite exit from the building and listened to the others talk. She gave a loud sigh after a moment before standing tall and authoritive-like. "Is anyone hungry? We could hunt or raid the..." she paused, remembering the pact with the Ranch, "Stores."
Narsia looked up at her sister while snuggling close to Ninaki. She caught the look her sister had a moment ago, knowing how lonely she was. Ever since Demon disapeared, Hydras had gotten even stricter.
Ankh watched the other aloofly. He didn't mind what they did, although personally he felt like causing mischeif.
