Hydras, Narsia, Bullet, Skeil, & Yersinia
Narsia returned to the abandoned house where Cortinarri was being kept prisoner. She found her alpha sister resting at the only enterance to the building and nudged her awake. She explained about their recent encounter and about the wolf named Damon who was their enemy.
Hydras sat up and yawned, showing off her fangs and waking herself up more in the process. "Good, another enemy." she replied with a bit of intruige. Now standing, she spoke in a louder voice to address the entire pack, "We need to obtain food again. Narsia, Skeil, Kenyon, and Yersinia are to stay here to guard the prisoners. The rest of us will head out for a hunt."
Bullet sauntered over, dipping his head down to Hydras. Then he looked to Sasha, "I don't think our prisoner will last much longer. We'll have to bring that cougar here when she dies... except that might be troublesome to keep him contained."
Hydras raised an eye at him but didn't say anything.
Aidan, Ninaki, & Kenyon
Kenyon was resting inside the basement, helping to keep guard on the captive within. He was large and powerful, but looks could be deceiving. In reality, he was the worst fighter in the pack. A total softie! But he hoped his emense size would detere any thoughts of attack or escape.
Ninaki strolled from the basement, dipping his had and body to Hydras as he past her. He was redy for a good hunt.
From a long alley, another hybrid came bounding down with thick brown/black fur. A tinge of reddish fur lined his ruff and gave him quite a look. He halted in front of Hydras, instantly lowering himself to her and speaking quickly in an earnest voice.
"Hydras, please take into consideration what I'm asking." he panted for breath from his long run and the fight previous to it. His hind limb was marred and bloodied but nothing serious. "The Ranch... I, they..." he gulped and went on, trying to find the courage to confront his aunt, "...are my friends. I cannot betray them, please!" His voice rose to a desperate pitch, wanting to express his wished before he might be interupted, "Without them, we lose easy meals from their pastures. And if those humans are driven out, others will take their place." He wasn't going to try to argue with her about his feelings, so he used some practical facts to hopefully get his wishes accepted. Feeling a bit more bold, he ventured to include, "...and, if we protect them, kind of... we can save more food for ourselves. I mean, when it's in our interest, of course." he waited nervously, hopefully, for her response.
