Toboe

*brown and tan wolf panted as he jogged down the alleys. he smelled humans here. the last time he met them they were beating some wolf up. he ignored the scent and tuned his scent glands on something else.a pack. and food. he stopped at a building and looked through its broken windows. may be he could shelter here for the night. climbing in it smelled more of humans. how strong the scent was. but he also smelled food.*

*Stuff*

The building was dark, but enough light filtered through the windows for Toboe to see sufficiently. The scattered skeleton of a Musk Oxen was littered over the floor, but the bones were very old and any bit of meat had long since rotted away. Teeth marks on the bones showed that this creature was at least feasted on, if not killed by large canines. In a room upstairs were some scattered mattresses that carried the heavy scent of a pack, although the scent was old. There were water marks a few feet up on the first-story walls, showing that this building had endured a heavy flood at some point.

There was a clank suddenly heard, coming from one of the rooms on the first floor. The door of the room was ajar only slightly...

Toboe

*eating his fill of what was left of the oxen he looked around the building. how strange. he headed up the stairs silently and enter the door. he looked around to what the noise was. nothing smelled of lunar flowers here.*

*Human & Cats*

A woman was sitting down on an overturned box, looking out a broken window. A thin-looking orange cat was rubbing up against the lady's leg and rumbling out a noise that sounded something between a purr and a meow. Five kittens, about eight weeks of age, where racing around the room and tackling each other.

One kitten had spotted Toboe, but no one else had yet. He was orange like his siblings, but a bit darker and had stripes like his mother, instead of the spots his sisters had. He watched the tan wolf with wide eyes and a shaking head. There was something obviously wrong with him, although he smelt perfectly normal.

Toboe

*wolf stepped in. he noticed all the cats. was this a cats paradise? he was searching for wolf paradise. he went to the floor and stared at the kitten. an interesting animal cats were*

*Human & Cats*

The mother cat noticed Toboe and her fur bristled high along her spine and tail. "Don't hurt my kittens!" she warned. She didn't hiss or anything because Toboe hadn't given any signs of danger; but she was a devoted mother who would defend her young.

The woman turned suddenly, now noticing Toboe. Her face showed alarm at first, then curiosity. The clothes she wore were ragged and dirty, but she looked kind. She spoke in a light voice to the wolf, trying not to scare him. She was worried that he would attack 'her' cats.

The shaking kitten stood up and lifted his bobbing head to better see Toboe. "Is this a wolf, momma?" he questioned. His voice wasn't at all shaky like his body.

The other kittens ran over to the woman, afraid of Toboe.

*he wasn't about to attack the cats. he was more of intrested in them.* yes i'm a wolf. my names toboe. *he looked to the woman. he barked lightly.*

*Woman & Cats*

The woman gave a faint smile and held her hand out for Toboe to sniff. She knew canines often felt more comfortable sniffing a stranger before letting them do anything.

The she-cat nodded slowly, "I'm Sassy. I've never seen a real wolf before; only dogs. The dogs normally try to chase kill us." she pointed out, "Are wolves nicer then?" She was still a bit wary of Toboe, but she could sense he wasn't a threat. She was very open minded, and would rather make friends than enemies.

The shaky kitten took a few steps closer to the wolf. "I have no name yet. But it's nice to meet a wolf!"

*other humans*

As Toboe and the woman with the cats get acquainted, a group of shadowy thugs trespassed onto her property, bring mean, powerful, loyal, wolf-hybrids with them. They had choking spike collars and chain choke leashes. The wolf hybrids are, Nike, Huron and Eerie. They pull towards the front door to the home of the cats and the woman. The 3 thugs released the leashes and the wolf-hybrids bark and tackle and throw themselves against the door until it broke. The thugs regain controlled over the wolf-hybrids and said in a funny way,
"Our mutts wanna have sum fun, and ur kitties are the fun they jast wanna have."
They let go of the hybrids and they run towards Toboe, the cats and the woman...

Toboe

*hearing the canines he stood.* hurry get yourself hidden. try and get the woman to go with you. *he turned and growled at the hybrids. he wasn't going to let these kitten lose their life.*

*hybrids*

The hybrid moved in quick attacking Toboe first, snarling and biting at his neck and belly.

Toboe

*he growled and before the hybrid could get his belly and ducked. as he attacked his neck toboe darted forwards feeling teeth on his head. he started to attack the hybrids neck with malicious attacks.*

*humans and hybrids*

The first hybrid yelped but other two continued their attack. Their owners came forth one seizing one of the kittens and running away with it while the others started their beating to toboe with glass, baseball bats, and kicked & punches...

Toboe

*tan and brown demon growled and attacked the other to hybrids. feeling glass enter his skin he growled even more and turned on the humans. seeing a kitten get carried away he was even more enraged.*

*hybrids and humans*

The hybrids yelp but relentlessly returned bloody bites and the thugs threw more glass and beat him harder with the bats. The cats and the woman watched in horror as the humans and hybrids maw and beat Toboe...

Toboe

*he finally got out of the circle of attacks and started to circle them. he had never been teamed up on like this before. group fighting was new to him.*

*hybrids and humans*

The hybrids were the first to reclose on him. Then the thugs who one threw several glass bottles at his face hoping it would cause sever pain and to distract him so the hybrids could bite at his neck and belly

Toboe

*he lowered himself again knowing his neck and belly were weak spots. since he kept moving the glass missed. the hybrids coming at him h readied himself. as they came at him he dove under them and stood up quickly. he could only do this one at a time. hoping to have stunned the hybrid he moved quickly out from under him.*

*hybrids and humans*

The hybrid was indeed stun but the other two were not so they continued their attack and one of the thugs threw himself at Toboe and held his neck as if it was a piece of dough shaped in a neck and he could easily break it....

toboe

*stunned by surprise from the man holding him he growled and snarled showing his fangs. humans weren't invincible he knew that so he would use that knowledge later.*

man

The squeezed him harder until he thought Toboe was surely to be unconscious or dead and released the lame body on the floor.....

toboe

*he was just unconscious not dead. he had made sure he wasn't dead.*

Man

The man laughed so hard he had peed his pants. Now the two thugs ganged up on the Woman and cats, one of them grabbing the rest of cats roughly by the neck and the other thug beated the woman up.
"If we don't at least kill this kitties the other kitten will be at least be killed."
The hybrids guarded Toboe to make sure he wasn't going to give a surprise attack if he ever woke up. The thugs disappear with the cats into the dark night and the hybrids left at their own will......

*he stirred. noticing the cats were gone he got up and growled. he looked around for the culprits. seeing the woman he padded over and licked her to see if she was alive.*
