Klawz
Klawz rested his weary head on his paws, his fur wet from drips. He was bored. And tired. And hungry. He knew he could just go to the Dump or another place ridden with food that was easy to get to, but his body seemed like it weighed 1000kgs. He shifted his weight, which made his head slip from his paws and bang on the hard grey ground. He didn't care. Even if he did he couldn't get his head off the ground. He bet he looked like a total freak, since the position he was in wasn't very comfortable.
Suddenly, hearing the rain drumming on the roofs of houses in a steady rhythm, determination gave him strength, and he lifted his body up off the ground, intent on finding food. With a jolt he realised he'd been hungry for longer than he'd cared to expect, and his body was ever so slightly thinning. Soon, He thought. I'll be growing fatter with my stomach swelling from hunger, and then it will hurt to eat and then it'll swell even more and then... He shivered to think of the rest. That gave Klawz even more determination to turn on one paw and head in the direction of the Dump.
Alex
Alex was running for cover. She liked rain, but she was hungry and wet and tired. She stopped in front of a cat. "Mister, are you ok?" she meowed. She didnt know him but she was worried about him. He looked bad and she would help him if she could. She looked down at him. ''If i can help you let me know. Im Alex" she said. She had been in this situation before and didnt like it.
Klawz
Klawz blinked. Was that another cat, speaking to him? A drop of rain splashed into his eye and he furiously blinked it away. His eyes drifted to the sound of the voice. It was a cat, that much he could tell, but, wait, there were more of them, appearing out of the first one. And more, and more... He resisted the urge to whack himself. Of course there's only one! he thought to himself. He widened his eyes and the cat became clearer. With all his strength, he heaved himself up and sat, looking at the cat, which name was Alex, with his emerald gaze.
"Hey, Alex." His voice was rough and he slurred his words, with an american tone to it. "Nice to meet ya. I'm fine. I'm just headin' off to deh Dump for some food. You look hungry. Wanna' come?" He tilted his head and waited for her reply.
