Apple Cider
The brindle Cardagan Corgie walked into the back streets followed by her young pups. They were about 3 weeks old. Mattina Sole waddled aqwardly behind her mother. She wasn't very social, and she prefered to be quiet, though she was loyal and would listen and help any of her family members when they wanted it. No matter how she was treated by her larger sister Rabbia. Rabbia was quick to learn to walk. She kept a good pace trailing not far from her mother. Nero Vento feel behind a bit, he seemed more intrested in the scent over every thing else. Mattina's blue ord looked over the land, taking in the creepy sites. Why was their mother taking them back here? It smelt of other dogs, dogs that she didn't know. Apple Cider lifted her head and sniffed the air. She hoped not to run into other dogs back here, but the scent seemed to say that was enevitable. She walked over and curled up in a corner where a dumpster met a wall. Mattina curled up on her mothers front paws, happy to be able to rest. Rabbia was quick to take a nipple and begin suckling. Laying flat on her stomach. Nero walked around sniffing their surroundings. "Nero Vento!" Apple Called for her pup "Vieni qui!" his ears perked and her trotted over to her, obidiantly.
Shelby Jr.; Migdala; Trey
The three pups did not often see their father. Scout, or Panzerfaust, as he was known in the show ring, hung out with humans more than these pups liked. However, Shelby Jr., named after his grandfather, would enjoy being around humans. Migdala and Trey had a fear of them. Needless to say, they all stayed with their mother.
Dear Scout had tried to teach his children some things. Shelby Jr. and Trey had picked up on the Welsh that their father knew. Migdala knew little of it. Scout had also attempted to teach all six pups the sports he knew. Flyball, agility, tracking and hunting were the main ones. While in the wild, a dog would hunt as their only means of getting food. Scout was fed kibble every day with supplements of other food and some vitamins, but hunted for sport with his master. The humans' sport hunting rules were much different than the natural rules that the wild canines had. Nevertheless, Scout tried to teach them both.
"Beth yw lle hwn?" 'What is this place?' Shelby Jr. asked curiously. He frequently spoke in the only language his ancient ancestors knew. He loved hearing the tales about when the breeds of his parents were created and the many things they could do.
"Rwy'n meddwl ei fod yn y ddinas." 'I think it's the city.' Came Trey's reply. Her big ears were perked as she sniffed the garbage. Suddenly, a mouse appeared and scurried away. Instinctively, Trey took off after it, bolting and bounding through the alleyway. Unfortunately, she did not know of the dangers here.
I've put on something you can't switch off
I hope I don't cry
But I know I will
And you know how it feels
On the north side, on the south side
They sing along when you switch on
You switch on for the city
Well I'm gone from the city
Come on strong winds move on
You belong in the city
I'm wrong for the city
Switch on a sad song when I'm gone
When in New York, I stay indoors
Go into the city and switch up the pity
On the train, someone says
Something about how Jesus saves
But I'm too lost to be found
You put on a good face when I wasn't around
On the east side
On the west side
They sing along when you switch on
They sing along when you switch on
You switch on for the city
Well I'm gone from the city
Come on strong winds move on
You belong in the city
I'm wrong for the city
Switch on a sad song when I'm gone
Apple Cider
Apple yawned, and listened to her pups speak in Welsh. She knew only a little of it her self. Her favorited Language was Italian, and she was speak it to the pups every now and then. She wanted them to know as much as they could. Her ears perked and she looked over at Trey standing "Trey! Come back!" she called after her hoping the pup would listen.
Nero jumped up "Dod yn ôl!"(Come back) He called after her hoping she would listen to Welsh. Mattina Sole looked over as well. She took a few steps from their little corner and sniffing.
Shelby Jr.; Migdala; Trey
Trey continued running after the mouse, not hearing her mother's words. She heard the words of Nero, though, and turned back. Without a word, she sat down, wagging her stubby tail. She looked exactly like her mother except for the lack of a tail. Migdala wandered around the alleys, stopping to look at something. "Hey! There's a hole here! I think there's somebody inside." She exclaimed. Shelby soon joined his sister in looking through the hole. They were both surprised when they saw another canine. Trey's shock soon followed.
"I am Havik, daughter of Desmon and Aurinka, and I must ask what you are doing on my land." Her voice was soft and calm, yet had an air of authority. She wanted answers, not trouble. She hated trouble, especially ever since her mother and sister were killed by White Feathers. She was glad White was dead, and though she didn't have the satisfaction of killing the wench herself, she was proud that her older half-brother avenged their mother.

Apple Cider looked over at Migdala. "Migdala don't do that." She said warningly. The other Canine came out of the hole. She seemed calm and friendly "Im sorry for inturding, I was simply looking for a safe place to stay with my offspring." She bowed her head appologeticaly.
Mattina Sole walked over and sniffed her her little tail wagged lightly. She was really small being only a few weeks old. Rabbia and Nero stayed by their mother.
