Hedes

Hedes lead his half siblings here. They had grown up togather, and never were seperated for long periods of time. They were all looking for a home so they came here. Vixen and Audra behind Hedes with Falcon and Breeze bringing up the back. The whole group had heard much about the Lurkers, and so they decided to seek acceptance here. In a strong pack they could become loyal to, and help those inside the pack.

Vixen was solid black with a brown spot under her chin. Yellow orbs looked around as the 110 lb fea came to a stop at the border. Audra rested her head on her sister's back. She was silvery black with brown eyes. The 100 lb fea's stomach was white. Hedes' was completely white with honey colored eyes. He weighed 120 lbs. He howled asking for the lead to come accept them.

Falcon and Breeze kept an eye out behind them. They glanced about now and then seeking any trouble or surprise attack. They might seem a bit paranoid at first, but they relly weren't. Than again, there was no reason why they shouldn't be alert. Falcon was grey with white hair guards. The 130 lb brute had brown eyes. Breeze was a light brown color with white cheeks. It looked like blush, and his eyes are yellow. They all stood, tightly knitted, and it was clear they were family from the resemblences.

Blaze

The chocolate and white dog crept through the alleys. They reeked of rotting garbage and who-knows-what-else. He had spent the past few nights regaining his strength at the dump, and now he was just wandering through the city.

As he rounded the corner of a big brick building, he froze. Ahead was a small pack of dogs. Blaze sniffed at them. They were young, and seemed rather nervous. He wondered briefly if they were aggressive.

The border collie sunk to his belly and watched for a few more moments before coming to a decision. He walked on past the brick corner and spoke. "Hello? I'm Blaze. Are you looking for anyone?" He knew it was lame, and kind of stupid just to walk up to a pack of strange dogs and introduce yourself, but hopefully he could trust them, and besides, he didn't know what else to say. He sat down, tense, ready for a possible attack.

Breeze

Breeze looked up when he heard a voice. Once catching sight of the other male he lowered his head once again. He didn't want to be disrespectful by staring him in the eye. His voice came through speaking for them all.

"I am Breeze, these are my siblings Hedes, Vixen, Audra, and Falcon. We are here to join the Shadow Lurkers, if that is allowed. Are you the leader here?"

The others kept their heads lowered along with their bodies. If he was the leader, than they would roll over to fully submit. If not than they would wait for the alpha to show up. Audra was getting slightly more nervous she was the most timid of the group. Her ears were against her head as she shot a glance to Blaze before lowering her head again. Would the brute allow them in, or chase them away?

Kalion

The scent of a group of canines had drawn one of Lurkers who had been on border patrol. Kalion had made sure the alleys were on alert while Lyckos and a group that had known Hydras went off to recover their lost Queen. With the higher ranking members missing, Kalion had taken it upon himself to deal with these newcomers.

Turning the corner of the alley to the opposite end of Blaze, Kalion noted he was very much outnumbered by this group. Nevertheless, this did not phase him, and he approached them confidently. "Our leader, Lyckos, is currently away. I am Kalion, his brother. I do not hold the authority to accept you into the pack, but you may follow me to the den to await his return, so that he or one of the other higher ranking members can accept you. Are you all seeking acceptance here?"

Blaze

When asked by Breeze if he was leader, Blaze had to chuckle to himself. "Heck, no. I'm certainly not leader. I was just passing through, and ran into you." He sat down, noticing that the other dogs wouldn't look him in the eye. This pleased him that they were being somewhat submissive.

When the other dog Kalion arrived from the opposite end of the darkened alley, Blaze stood. When he realized that this dog was of authority, he layed down and kept his tail low, avoiding his eyes. Kalion walked with confidence and authority.

When he asked if the were all seeking acceptance, Blaze wondered how he should respond. He had had no intention of joining a pack when he had been walking through the territory, but now he thought that maybe he should see. It might be nice to have a pack, and not be on his own all of the time. "I guess that I'll come." He was a bit nervous, because he had heard that the Shadow Lurkers were a fierce bunch, but he would take his chances.

Vixen

Vixen sensing the other wolf comming looked up quickly. Seeing the wolf carrying himself with some authority, she once again averted her gaze. So Blaze wasn't he leader, but this other wolf was the brother of the leader. Hmm, interesting Vixen thought. At Kalion's next words she smiled. Getting to her feet like her siblings, they stood tail and head lowered.

"Yes sir, we are all seeking to join. Thank you, and we will go to the den with you." Vixen spoke softly.

Breeze, Falcon, Hedes, and Audra waited for the brute to lead them away. Just incase he didn't hear what their names were, they repeated it to him each taking a turn to voice their names along the way to the den.

Kalion

Kalion nodded his approval to each newcomer, even though some looked a little dubious about whether or not to join. "Welcome to you all, and follow me." He lead them to the Aegis Den.

Blaze

The chocolate and white dog stood and followed behind the others, curious to see what the den would be like. He hoped that he had made the right decision in deciding to join, and hoped that the pack would be welcoming. Kalion seemed friendly enough, which was a good sign.

They traveled for a long time through the stinking alleys, rounding many corners, all of them looking the same. Blaze would never be able to find his way out again, it seemed.
