Bear
Bear returned to his home with blood around his mouth. He had tried to wash it off, but it was still quite visible. It was Aurinka's blood. Most of the Lurkers who were out of the den may have seen him stalking after Aurinka. It was obvious what had happened. He had killed the older coywolf. Or, at least, he tried to, and thought he was successful.
Kajastava looked at her brother. "Wha... WHAT DID YOU DO?! DID YOU HURT AURI?!" She screeched. Bear grinned. "I did us all a favor." He just hoped he wouldn't be seen by Desmon.
Desmon & Others
Unfortunately for Bear, it was the hulking Honthale that caught sight and sound of the confrontation before his brother came out. The scent of Aurinka's blood and the remark that he had made told him a clear as day what had happened... in an instant, the burly hybrid was thundering across the ground with a snarl so vicious is resounded in thunderous report against the high walls of the alley. Plunging through the air in a wild leap, Hon tried to tackle Bear across the ground and pin him on his back, "Murderous scum!" Unlike Desmon, Honthale had no quips about killing, and the only reason he didn't go for a death bite was because of how Hydras had set up the policy on traitors - though of course, that issue now fell on Lyckos to decide.
Desmon came bolting from the den at the sound of commotion, ears planed anxiously to the sides as he stalked towards his brother, "Hon, what's going on... Auri!" The scent of blood hit him, and he began to shake violently, "Auri! Bear, what did you do?! Where is she?!"
Bear
Bear didn't resist being tackled. "I didn't murder, no, Honthale. I simply made one less villain in the world." He said snarkily. Then Desmon showed up. He expected Aurinka's mate to come, but he wasn't afraid. After all, Lyckos wouldn't let Des do anything to him, right? "I just saved you all, Desmon. She had the same blood as Tainted. The children of Tahti are all alike, I hear." He didn't realize the irony of his statement. "Her body is at the mountains if you want a chance to say goodbye."
Basil came up beside her father. "You're lying! You can't hurt my mother!" She cried.
Camden
With Lyckos busy, Camden had spoken with Rowan about a possible attack on Kalaber's old pack. He couldn't agree to anything with his father's permission, so instead he told Rowan to come with him until Lyckos was finished with Risen.
The snarls and shouts were quickly picked up by the young adult, who glanced to Rowan before racing towards the commotion. When he arrived, the smell of Aurinka's blood and Bear being pinned by Honthale confirmed his suspitions. Bear had killed Aurinka. Camden's ears flattened against his head, and his eyes narrowed dangerously. "How dare you," he hissed, his voice low and sinister as he glared down at his 'half-brother', "you are a traitor, Bear, you've killed one of our allies. Sure, she's done us wrong, but she is...was a Guardian, so untouchable by you."
It was Bear's next statement that made him chuckle maliciously. The children of Tahti are all alike? Well that was ironic, was it not? Camden had never been in favour of his father taking in the coyote pups as his own, but Lyckos had done so anyway. Perhaps now was a good time for Bear to find out who he truely was.
"The children of Tahti are all alike. You really have no idea do you? Lyckos is not your father..." he paused, and in that moment, images of both Lyckos and Hydras flashed into his mind, "...Luke is. You were found in these very alleys when you were only just born, and the Lurkers took you in. Lyckos raised you as his own children, as siblings to me, Lerna and Argolis, but we do not share the same parents. You are the son of Luke...and Tahti."
Rowan; Bear
Rowan had just enough time to answer Camden before Bear arrived. "It was Isabel, sir. I protested, as I don't want to risk losing anymore family, though she is still scarred from seeing Black Plaque kill our mother." He replied, "Although, perhaps, if you or your father has the time, or maybe Aurinka, one of you could talk to her and suggest changing her mind." And then came Bear. The murderer. Rowan had never expected it.
Bear looked at Camden. "If she has done you wrong, you should be congratulating me. Isn't it her fault that our mother is dead? Didn't Aurinka cause Tainted's actions? And then she was standing up for the beast!" He had heard stories of Hydras and made a connection that she must have been his mother. "If I had my way-" He couldn't finish speaking before Camden spoke again. "You're lying! I'm not that scum's son!" He took a look at Kajastava, who looked quite a bit like Tahti. "Am I?"
Rowan growled young Bear. "Yes, you are my half-brother. We have the same mother, Bear. I, for one, carry that banner proudly. You just killed your big sister. Now what does that say about you, Bear?" He said through tightly clenched teeth. "Not only are you a daughter of Tahti and Luke, but... so is Tainted. She is your full-blood older sister. That's food for thought, huh?"
Kajastava looked up at Camden. "But... Dad - I mean, Lyckos is still our real father even if we're not related to him, right?" She asked, her eyes flooding over with tears. "Can I still stay here with Dad? I promise I won't hurt anyone."
Patch
The ivory and ebony brute strolled out of the Aegis Den when he heard the commotion. Patch looked at them, his lips began to curl at the whole action scene. What in the hell was happening to this place? Was everyone going into a hate-hate situation, and not thinking about families and love. Patch wasn't going to get involved, but he stood beside Desmon when Bear returned. "You did what?" Patch hissed.
Arson and Swift, two sons of Tahti, where with Rowan for the moment. "So, you just killed your own half-sister?" Swift snorted at Bear, trying not to laugh.
"Wait...so Lyckos's step-children, are Tainted's siblngs..." Swift gasped, his eyes wide. What was this all going to end up like?
Larka & DewPad
Larka had come here to get away from her family. Though she was of Kalaber's blood, no one would know. She spent nearly eight months on the streets, and Larka had even forgotten who she was. Now, Larka was trekking down these grimy alleys. When she saw the pack, she froze.
Meanwhile, DewPad had neared the pack. The famished, weak and exhausted female was about to call out to the pack when she collapsed. Larka saw this happen, and rushed to the females side. "Hey! Someone help me here!" Larka barked, knowing that this probably wasn't the best time.
