Shiver
Shiver led her new friend to the Alleys. Though what she didn't know is that they both had amnesia, and that Shiver had been Klavdia and Fenrir had been Windsong. They had even been one-time mates.
"Does this looks like the place?" She asked, looking back at Fenrir.
Fenrir
Fenrir looked at the alley, nodding softly and studying the walls. It sent ripples of dismay and happiness into his blood, and he smiled.
"Yes, this is it! But what does it have a connect to her?" Fenrir asked, cocking his head.
Shiver
Shiver looked around, looking for a coyote or anything coyote-ish. Maybe some of the mystery coyote's family was around if the coyote herself wasn't here.
"Just keep your eyes out for anything that looks remotely like a coyote." She said quietly. She herself looked slightly like a coyote, obviously related to Tahti, arguably the most famous - or infamous - coyote in the Valley.
Fenrir
Fenrir looked around, trying to find any signs of a wolf. Fenrir felt his hope lowering and his eyes growing dim. "There is no one here," Fenrir whispered.
Shiver
Shiver shook her head. "I don't see anybody." She sighed. "What do we do now?"
Fenrir
Fenrir looked down the alleys, sighing softly. Maybe she wasn't here. "I don't know..." Fenrir replied with a dreary tone.
Shiver
Shiver was ready to cry. She was so sure she'd see that coyote here. But once again, her hopes were up when she heard a voice.
"Klav-- I mean, Shiver?" Predator called out when she saw her daughter. She had heard about Klavdia's amnesia and that she was now Shiver.
Shiver raised her head, her ear's perking. "She looks kinda like...a coyote." She whispered to Fenrir. "Ask her if she's seen the one-eyed coyote."
Fenrir
Fenrir looked at Predator, glancing at Shiver and nodding briefly. "Hey...you! Have you seen the one-eyed coyote? Please, we must find her," Fenrir called to Predator, staring at the coyote and trying to look friendly, ears pricked, eyes unblinking.
Predator
Predator nodded. "She was my mother." She then looked at Windsong (or Fenrir), figuring he must have amnesia too. "And I know you may not remember, but she was your mate."
Shiver smiled. "Well can you take us to her?" She asked, wagging her tail.
Predator sighed. "I'm afraid not. She was killed a while ago." She informed sorrowfully.
Fenrir
Fenrir looked at Predator, disbelief etched across his face. No! This could not be true. The only thing he could link himself to his past was gone! "No...it...it can't be!" Fenrir burst, his lips drew a snarl, but it wasn't at Shiver or Predator. More at his worthless dreams. "Why is this falling apart!"
Predator
Predator sighed. "Well, there's something I know that might help. When Tahti first died, you went to the basin to talk to her in your sleep. I could take you there and maybe she could tell you what you need to know." She suggested.
Fenrir
Fenrir looked skyward, then turned to Shiver. "Shiver, do you wish to come?" Fenrir asked, not wanting to leave his newfound friend alone.
Shiver
Shiver nodded. "I'll come." She replied.
Predator smiled. "Then let's go." She led the two to the basin.
