Diego

There had been many new moons since his last time here. Diego was now a full grown male, a larger then average alpha male. He had been with his brother Disoto when they came back, but desided to go different ways now. There was so many things that were different here, but this Diego new, was the same as beore. He began to sniff around to see if he could catch the sent of anyone else around here. It seemed like it had been awhile since anyone had walked these streets, but he could slightly feel the presence of eyes following him as he walked on.

Tahti

Tahti wasn't a Shadow Lurker. In fact, she was a former Shadow Haunter who left her pack in search of a better cause. She was now the leader of the Refugees, who accepted everybody who wasn't accepted anywhere else.

She left the Aegis Den where her daughter, Aurinka, was meeting with the council who was deciding whether or not she should be let back into the Lurkers. The coyote soon saw Diego with her one remaining eye. The other had been taken out by Kalaber. "Hello, sir. I am Tahti, leader of the Refugees. Who are you?" She greeted him warmly.

Diego

A little startled when she approched him, his tail stood straight up and teeth bared emitting a low snarl in her direction. Sensing that this puney coyote posed no harm to someone like him, he settled a bit but still kept his guard up in case there were others. "I'm Diego" He sneared at her. His ears twitched back and forth listening for anything that could possibly try to spring an attack on him.

Tahti

Tahti tilted her head, a bit confused by Diego's aggressive behavior. "There's nothing to be afraid of here. This is the home of the Shadow Lurkers. They're good." She said calmly, wagging her bushy tail.

Diego

Diego let out a laugh when he heard what she said. "Me afraid? Your joking! And the Shadow Lurkers are far from good." He took a step towards her, she obviously had no idea what her gone on years ago with this pack of unwanted ones.

Tahti

Tahti lifted herself up and raised her hackles to make herself look bigger. "As a former Shadow Haunter, I say I prefer this pack over any other one in the Valley. Besides my own pack, of course." She said defiantly.

Diego

He bared his teeth and snarled at her raising his own hackles. "Dont challenge me" Diego laughed as she tried to look tough. "Neither packs are worth anything." Suddenly he reached forward with his mouth and snapped at her nose.

Tahti

Tahti snarled at Diego. "I'll challenge whoever I want!" She retorted. She stepped back when he snapped. Where she lacked in strength, she made up for with agility, speed and cunning.

Diego

"Oh really now?" He began to circle around her. His teth snapping at her feet, tryin to make her dance for him. His tail stood staight up and his head lowered, daring her to make a move.

Tahti

Tahti kept a straight face, staring and backing away as Diego circled her. She had an idea. "Intruder! There's an intruder in the Alleys!" She hoped the Lurkers would send Diego away. Although she knew they might send her away too.

Diego

He smirked "Nice try imp." Then he rushed at her, snapping at any part of her he could get ahold of with an angry fury. Diego had no real fear of the ones who lived here, but if they should come to challenge him then he would find Tahti somewhere else.

Tahti

Tahti tried to dodge, but wasn't quick enough. Diego had her scruff. "Help me! Aurinka! Help!" she called, knowing that the daughter of herself and Vicious would come to her aid. If she heard.

Diego

His hold became tight around her neck, squeezing harder when she screamed out for help. The brute shook his head with her in his mouth. A muffled "Shut up!" came out, warning her it would only make things worse

Tahti; Aurinka

Tahti closed her eye, yelping as her flesh was ripped. "He's killing me!" She howled. Surely somebody would come to her aid.

Personality: Somewhat shy and cautious, though very loving of her pack and family.
History: Came to the Valley and joined the Shadow Haunters. She had very many pups and eventually left the Haunters, feeling the need to do something helpful. She formed The Refugees, a pack which makes its home in Manahcob Downs and claims to accept any creature, no matter the background.

Aurinka left the Aegis Den, her piercing yellow eyes narrowing as she watched Diego from the shadows. Her pearly whites were bared and she leapt at the larger canine. "Get away from my mother!" The daughter of Tahti and Vicious snapped.

Personality: Calm and mellow
History: She was born into the Shadow Haunters. Finding that they weren't her "kind" of pack, she left and joined the Ancient Guardians, though fled when her brother was killed by a member. She was discovered wandering by members of the Shadow Lurkers and was accepted into their pack. This wouldn't last for long, though. She came down with distemper and her mother, a former member of the Shadow Haunters, came to help her. They were both exiled. Aurinka now wanders the Valley, hoping that someday the Lurkers will accept her back.

Diego

Deigo went to turn away but this other fem grazed part of his neck ripping off some fir. "I wasn't going to kill you. Tell her to back off or i will" He snarled in a muffled tone. The brute backed up a little to exit the alleys with Tahti still in his jaws.

Tahti; Aurinka; Isabel; Predator

Tahti could hear her daughter's voice. "No! If you're going to kill me, then kill me!" She barked.

Aurinka was soon joined by her half-sisters, Isabel, the daughter of Tahti and Windsong, and Predator, the daughter of Tahti and Luke. The younger sisters circled around Diego. "You're outnumbered. Drop our mother, you freak!" Isabel snapped.

Aurinka stepped off, but went to circling the brute as well, trying to keep him from bolting with their mother.

Diego

The brute looked from the two new fems to the other. He was larger then most males with extremely powerful jaws and limbs, this would be interesting. "This will be on your head" He taunted the others. Suddenly he shook his head violently and crushed his jaws down on Tahti's neck, hoping to kill her, if not just leave her rapidly bleeding from her jugular, then tossed her aside towards a brick wall. Diego stood with his tail upright and bloody fangs bared, his ears twitching around listening as they circled him.

Tahti

Thankfully, because only Tahti's scruff was in Diego's jaws, she wasn't dead. But she was bleeding badly.

Aurinka watched her mother lying on the ground. Now was a good time for Tainted to appear, but of course she wasn't here. "You deranged psycho! I told you to leave my mother alone!" She barked, launching her small body at the big wolf, trying to grab a chunk of flesh.

Isabel and Predator dragged their mother to a corner, checking over her injuries. "Help us! We need help!" They cried frantically.

Diego

Diego smirked evily at them. "I warned her, next time it will be worse!" When Aurinka threw herself at him, he lept forward with his head down and his full force into her. Then took off to find his brother.
