Roku
After Roku had started to devour the rat, a twoleg from above came to the apartment window at the commotion from when the wolfdog had upset the cans, making them rattle. The man saw the wolfdog below and he screamed " Get out of here you mongrel!! Yer upsettin' the peace you good fer nuttin scavenger!!" and then he threw a bucket of water onto Roku, bucket and all. The wolfdog lept aside at the harsh voice, and then tore away, causing more cans to rattle and clank as he bashed into them.
Roku hadn't even finished his rat, and now some lazy cat would come and finish it off. Roku didn't know it, but he was headed straight for the West Point B&B trails.
Blackwing
Blackwing had left where she was sitting to stretch her legs. She watched as the twoleg throught the water from the window on him.Spotting the rat she picked it up and slung up in the air from her mouth toward the other wolfdog.Making it land with a loud thud right behind the running wolfdog.
Arget
The Shadow Lurker needed quiet, so she slowly made her way out of the Aegis Den, sighing softly. Mom was captured. Patch was off with Equiss. Dad was dead. Feather was dead. This place was winding down to a endless stretch of hell. Arget laid down in a dark corner, resting her head on her paws. Suddenly she heard the human scream. At first, she thought it was directed at her. But, no, at that wolfdog. Arget stood up, fur shining. She then saw Blackwing, and made her way towards them. "What may be your businesses in the Alleys of the Shadow Lurkers?" She asked, quit kindly. She hoped they would join the Lurkers. They needed fresh warriors.
Blackwing
Blackwing looked up at Arget.",B>Just wandering around,"she said causally.Glancing from the wolfdog then the shadow lurker she builded up enough courage to ask "Who are yall?
Hestier
Silent Shadows, death is coming, silence as the white beast strolls. The air seemed to chill, or maybe it was just him, as his hot breath collected around his snout and crept up the sides of his ghastly face. The demon had been sent here, sent here by a sister long forgotten. Once again the power-house, this new Crucified… this – Hestier was now working for the wretched group. His mission was simple: impregnate the enemy and steal his rightful cubs… Simple.
Hollow clacks against the cold ground echoed through the tight alleys. His dull colored eyes glanced up as the sound of voices licked the inside of his sensitive ears. He froze, body tense, his head up high with ears erect, and a foot frozen in mid-fall. His lips twitched for a moment, and then curled back into a spine tingling grin. “Hello victim number one.” He chirped under his breath before lowering his head and stalking forth.
Unlucky for him, they were in the middle of a long alley. He would not be able to surprise them by rounding a corner. Instead he moved along the shadows, his eyes watching the three. He passed the wolf-dog, Riku, before moving up to the others. His dull eyes landed emotionlessly on Arget, then flicked to Blackwing. There was a devilish smile that coursed across his face as he looked at the passer-by. “Why don’t you mosey on along dearest,” And his deadly eyes turned to Arget, “I’ve heard someone’s been a bad dog and needs punishing.” His words became low and lethal, glaring heatedly at the female before tilting his head to the side. “Doesn’t she…”
Blackwing
Blackwing whipped her head around when she smelled another dog.Glaring at the new male dog that appeared. When she heard him tell het to mosey along she let out a vicious snarl.I'll go when i want and don't mess with me she spat at him making the meaning clear. As if to prove it she sat down. Why don't you mind your own buisness she added with a growl.
Arget
"I'm Arget, you guys lookin' for a pack?" She was cut short as Hestier came, and her hackles raised. He looked fimiliar, and smelt like a Haunter. "Go away, you are walking upon Lurkers ground, you Haunter scum." Arget stepped forward, standing in front of Hestier, her throat rumbled a growl. Roku and Blackwing were behind her, she wouldn't let the harmless get involved. "I'll slaughter you." Arget didn't stand a chance against Hestier if he attacked. Her stomach tightened, and fear rippled threw her like a wave. If I get caught...I can find mother. Arget thought, be wanted her freedom before her mother...odd enough.
Hestier
The white wolf snarled devilishly and laughed as the female stood in front of him. Dust brown orbs narrowed on her and he hissed "Try it love." Forcefully he pushed against her, throwing his weight to let her truly size him up. "And I know exactly where I stand, but it seems that you are the only one home. Or so I see.." He glanced up to Blackwing. "Except for a flee fest over there." He openly insulted before looking back to Arget, eyes widening. "Tell me, why do you stand with the Lurkers?"
His weight shifted upon stock filled limbs. Hot breath continued to stream up from his nose and mouth. Slowly he let out a growl to inform her that it'd better be a good explanation.
Arget
Arget snarled, her fangs were barred as Hestier growl at her. "My mother and father were members." Arget replied firmly. "Fuck off, she doesn't mean anything to you." Arget snarled, glancing at Blackwing. Arget's hackles raised, she puffed out her chest. "I will howl for my pack, idiot." Arget snarled. "I'm living up to my family's reputation. My sister was killed in battle, my father murdered by humans...why shouldn't I fight for my sister's legacy?"
Hestier
The white beast snarled low in his throat, vocals reverberating as he spoke to her, slight amusement in his eyes. "they were members... If you stay here, you could be killed in the same pathetic way your father did. And why you shouldn't fight for your sister's legacy: You are not your sister. Your reasons are pathetic, I demand a better one." He smiled now, playing with the young ones mind. There was a light in his eyes that was obvious as he spoke to the fea. Interested in her, but more interested in his mission - for the moment
Arget
Arget closed her mouth, her eyes studied Hestier. "Shuttup. I know your messing with me." Arget snarled. "My father died because he defened my mother and my family from humans. If he didn't sacrifice himself, I or one of my siblings would've been dead." Arget growled/
Hestier
A cruel smile held dauntingly on his face as she caught his true means. Why not push it further? “Even though your father died, your sibling is dead anyways. Or are you contradicting yourself?” He chuckled darkly as he grew closer to the female. Pushing his shoulder against her and looking into her eyes, “if you will not give me a good reason on why you are with the Lurkers… then answer me this: Why have you not joined me with the Haunters? What is stopping you from the power you deserve?” His words hissed out as steam. His tail held straight out as he froze. His soul connected with her eyes as he spoke to her.
Blackwing
Blackwing let out a pure snarl of fury.Without hesitation she snaped out at the wolf hoping to take him by suprise.Nobody talks to her like that.Say something smart again and I'll rip your guts out and feed them to the crows she said.
Arget
Silence, thats all Arget greeted Hestier's question. She dug into her heart with a pike, but found nothing. Why, Arget? Why? Why, why, why?. Arget thought. He's playing. He's trying to break your cofidence. "Revenge." She replied coldly, shivering at his touch. "They killed my sister, and have my mother." Arget replied tartly.
Hestier
The white brute watched as she argued with herself mentally. All with a smile. He continued to stay close to her but then winced as foreign teeth graced his face with an unknown snap. The white wolf's face contorted for a moment as he looked to the dog that stood before him. "Why don't you go play in the sewer, Street Rat." he spat at the female before turning back to Arget, this time rubbing his whole muscled side against hers as he made his way back to her front.
"I have not heard of any hostages. Not yet anyway, and your sister must have done something against their liking if they have so easily taken her life..." there was a moments pause as he gently let the top of his nose slide under her own jaw, lifting it up for a moment. No fear as he lifted her jaw to reveal her throat, if she so let him. All the while he looked deep in her eyes with a fiery warmth.
"Such beauty is being hindered here in the damn dirt of the alleys. Does this pack truly respect you? Are you getting all you deserve here?" His words were softer, as if on a light note, but very well meant to persuade.
Blackwing
Blackwing had had enough.Nobody got away with talking to her like that. Why don't you go back from where you came from or they won't let you she snarled at him with a smirk before lunging with her teeth all the way showing. She had aimed her teeth for his shoulder.
Arget
Arget looked away. Something told her to fight, to restite...but something tore at her heart, tearing it into pieces. "Beauty...?" She whispered, almost faint enough that it could surpass and underheard. She looked at the brute with soft eyes, a unknown feeling funning threw her blood. "What are you saying?" She demanded in a shaky voice.
Hestier
His eyes filled with something unknown. As if a heart had been born out of the dark and emptiness of his soul. "I'm saying you don't deserve to live off the streets. To heed humans as they pass you. Beauty is wild, and you are contained here. You belong with me. All of those who are blind to you gorgeousness will see the light as you walk by my side... you are lovely" He said, a smile upon his face as his eyes stared into her own.
But as quick as the smile appeared, it washed away as his ears flicked back to the female who leaped at his shoulder. Moving to the side, fully blocking Arget, he offered a vicious bite to the top of Blackwing's head as her fangs tore at his flesh. "You could very well avoid being hurt if you leave now. You are but a pup if words hurt you so much: Grow up."
Blackwing
I'm not a pup even though i'm short and i can fight she growled at the male.Leaping at the wolf.Spinning so that his attack only grazed her leg.Moving her head to the side she struck out at his throat. The only way she stop attacking is if this wolf stopped treating her like a stupid pup.
Arget
Arget closed her eyes. You belong with me? I am lovely. Had this truth been hidden amoung the shadows for so long? Hidden by her mother, her father, her brother...even her own sister? Had the truth hindered for so long, that it seemed to hurt to hear it. Arget watched Blackwing attack, but didn't move, flinch. Frozen to the spot. "Blackwing...don't fight..." Arget said. "I will walk by your side...I won't hinder in the shadows then."
Blackwing
Once she heard Arget she stopped fighting.Stepping back she sat down a little way from Arget ready to fight again if neccesary.
Arget
"Blackwing...the Shadow Lurkers. If you wish for a home...go to their den...they are gone, but will return. You will like them, you shall meet my brothers, Suenga and Patch." Arget said, smiling faintly. "I'm breaking free."
Blackwing
No way I heard about them and i know i wouldn't like them.Your leavin your family for him she asked a little stunned. Then she regained herself and said well its you life and no one can change that.Silently she waited for an answer from Arget.
Arget
"If you hate them, then why to your waltz upon their land?" She questioned tartly.
Blackwing
Because i walk wherever i want to she said challenging her to say something about it.She hated it when people tried to control her.In truth is if she hadn't run into Arget she already be gone wanting nothing to do with the Shadow Lurkers.
Arget
"Then leave." Arget said simply. "Wander like a lonely pup...you won't be lonely much longer. Trust me."
Blackwing
Blackwing glared at Arget.Sometimes i like to be lonely and whats that suppose to mean she asked with a snarl.Don't tell me your going to try and kill me and if you do try good luck she growled.
Arget
"Don't challenge me. I know how to fight better then you. You haven't even tasted a battle yet." Arget smiled. "The valley is full of rapist, kidnappers, greedy humans, hunters...you won't be well protected unless you find a secure pack."
Blackwing
I've been in more fights then you'll ever know and i can take care of myself she growled at Arget. She was really getting tired of others treating her like a pup and she showed it not only in her body language but her eyes that she had narrowed.
Hestier
He braced himself for another attack when Arget forbade the other from attacking him. There was a smile of victory held deep within, but he would not let the other two see it in his eyes. As much as he let his dark thoughts pour out of his portals, this sinister look would not be one of them.
Looking back to Arget, he smiled softly to the fea, and then back to Blackwing, "You won't last very long as a loner, especially as small as you are. As much as you don't want to admit it, there are sexist bastards out there who will see you as nothing but game. Join a pack, or be hunted by the dirty deeds of other canines... or even by the dirty hands of humans." He turned to Arget, nudging her gently. "I will help set you free my dove. But first may I ask: how old are you my dear? Would such beauty care to create the next living treasures of the world?" He cooed to her, leaving his tone low enough for Blackwing not to hear. "You think I am a Haunter, I just work with them, meaning: I can bend them to my will." He smiled reassuringly.
Blackwing
Blackwing rolled her eyes and said whatever.Getting up she left leaving the Shadow lurker lands and heading back to the others.Twitching her tail in farwell before dissapering.
Arget
"So you think." Arget snarled at Blackwing. "I am two years." She replied softly.
Hestier
Dusty eyes took the young Arget in; smiling under his soft exterior. "What do you say of making the treasures of the world? The gemstones of the world's ring? I will talk Risen's Mothers into raising them for us while we travel the world, and when they are old enough they will join us in our journey." His eyes brightened for a moment before placing a gentle nuzzle against her nape.
"Some are afraid of losing their children in the transition; but you will always be their mother- I will see to it that you see them whenever you wish; it will just be the Mothers who have to do all the dirty work for you." He held her in his embrace for a moment longer "But if you are not ready to grace the world with our beauty. I understand, the world is not worthy of such a fine creature as you; nor her magnificent offspring."
Arget
Arget looked at him. "Your words...they are so...beautiful." Arget then listened to the 'dirty' work. "Leaving me free?" She asked, but she knew the answer. She began to strutt away from the alleys. "I know where the ruins are. The attacked there once, I stayed behind. I hate war." She sighed with a edgy tone. "Where to, Hestier?"
